This tungue-in-cheek WWII shooter is one of the most fun games to develop. We had almost free hands to make it as arcady and crazy as we wanted it to be. No convoluted rules - just pick your weapon and jump in. Play in various weather conditions eg. heavy rain, early morning mist, snow, fog and sunny. The visuals is a mix of esthetic low poly art and advanced shader magic. The lo-po graphics, the original sound and the animation is state-of-the-art quality with humor and toony slap-stick fun. The CTF Axis vs. Allies gameplay pushes the game in a constant competition of continious attack waves with rockets flying by, grenade jumping and roaring air-planes in the background. The game was developed between 2020-2023 for Kiloo Games with a small team of experienced game developers.

Assets, Weapons and Environment
Environment & Models
Inspired by classic WWII movies and model dioramas, the game models are made with great attention to detail and historic setting. We decided to allow a fair amount of detail in the geometry. The environment models are all mapped with the same texture and a few materials only. All models has vertex painted ao (ambient occlusion) and a single dirtmap applied in it's ovn uv channel to make the world feel worn and battered by war.

Weapons
The weapons are all super stylistic with respect to the low poly aesthetic style of the game. It's a delicate balance not to add too much details but still enough to make it feel real. All weapons were done with great attention to the historic reference.
All weapons was modelled and designed in Blender.
Characters
The game has two sides: Axis & Allies. Both sides has one character in uniform making it easy to know friend from foe. Both sides has unique weapons only available for the specific side.
